Hello from Zagreb Croatia! I dont know French so i`ll try in English..... I own AX 1.4 with 205 Rally head (lightly ported), camshaft and Webers 40 dcoe. Car is going fine untill 6500 rpm an then it starts to loose power drasticly. Venturies are 34mm, mains 140 F9 200, idle jets are 50. Does anyone has an idea how can i get little more efective rpm out of it? My carbs dont have vacuum conection that goes to distributor. Can that maybe the problem that it doesen have enough advance?
Thanks very much!
Andrej

Hello,
Are you sure that your carbs are tuned correctly ?
I had quite the same problem with my Ax sport (same engine than 205 rally) and the problem was that my mixture was far too lean, so I made the mixture richer with the idle richness screws and now everything works fine... seems strange because the idle richness screws should normaly have no affect on higher revs but if the mixture is too lean below 3500 rpms it will become even worse at higher revs.
Don't know if this will help but is worth give it a try ?
yves.

This is 0.20 for inlet valves and 0.30 for exhaust valvesGuest a écrit :oliv'fast&furious a écrit :i think you can have a look at your inlet and exhaust valves gaps, and of course make sure that your carburettors syncronisation and mixture are corcetly tuned
How much must that gap be? I found many data. Some said ... inlet 0,20 exaust 025,030, 040.
